"Blue Shift was created for Half-Life fans everywhere and we're very pleased to be able to bring it to the PC," said Randy Pitchford, Director of Gearbox Software.

Blue Shift is being developed by Gearbox Software, who many of you know from Half-Life: Opposing Force, which will be included in the box in the North America release. This new addition to the mix will give you access to even more of the Black Mesa Research Facility than you had in the original game. Another chapter of the series being called Half-Life: Blue Shift will take all of you right back into the thick of things in the shoes of the security officer that was nice enough to ally with our hero Gordon Freeman.

Well anyway, there seems to be something new coming out in the summer that those of you that have played Half-Life may just be interested in. Something about inter-dimensional aliens and some sort of research facility? I guess it won a bunch of awards for being one of the best games ever created or something.

What's this Half-Life thing? I know it was some kind of game that was released a while ago.
